Organic Atlantic Kelp Powder

Kelp has a savoury, oceanic flavour, a little like a gentle sea salt with extra depth. Because you only need a small pinch, it blends easily into soups, broths, dressings and smoothies without overpowering them.

Less is more. Kelp is naturally very high in iodine, and too much iodine can affect the thyroid. Start with a pinch and use no more than 1/4 teaspoon (about 0.5 g) per day, and avoid combining it with other iodine supplements unless your healthcare professional advises it.

Food Standards Australia New Zealand advises pregnant and breastfeeding women and children to eat no more than one serve a week of brown seaweed, which includes kelp. If you have a thyroid condition or take thyroid medication, speak with your doctor before using kelp.

Products that carry our SXC Certification number 25165 on the packaging are 100% certified organic along the entire supply chain.

We don't hide behind vague terms like "natural" or "made with organic ingredients." If it doesn't have our certification logo and number on
the pack, we don't call it organic.

Other brands might claim "organic" without a recognised certification. Don't risk it. Look for the logo. Look for the number.
